Work from home! Avets is seeking a board-certified, or residency trained radiologist. 

The Radiologist will work in telemedicine, evaluating X-Rays, Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, and Computed Tomography. The radiologist will dictate medical evaluations and will collaborate with colleagues and consult with clients and other veterinary professionals.

We are looking for full-time Emergency Veterinary Technician Caregivers to join our team. If you’re looking to advance your skill set and work in a fast-paced environment where every day looks different, we want to work with you! 

Avets operates as whole hospital team, offering opportunities to train and work with both specialty and emergency veterinarians. We pair new hires with a mentor to guide them through their introductory period. This is a full-time, hourly position, working either 3 twelve-hour shifts, or 4 ten hour shifts per week, inclusive of one shift per weekend and a portion of the holidays.

Caregiver Assistants are responsible for supporting our Veterinarians and Technician Caregivers in providing the highest quality of care to all patients by restraining patients, running lab work, filling prescriptions, walking dogs, and keeping the hospital clean and comfortable and effectively stocked with supplies. 

This is a full-time position, working 4 ten hour shifts per week on either a day or overnight shift. One shift per weekend will be required as well as a portion of the holidays.

Avets, a 24-hour veterinary emergency & specialty hospital located in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, is hiring Client Care Coordinators to join our team! You can be an important part of providing compassionate care for pets and the people who love them in our area. 

The Client Care Coordinator (CCC) is focused on the pet owner’s experience during their visit. They must demonstrate excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone as well as the ability to remain calm under pressure. Our CCCs show compassion for animals and their owners, as well as understand and work to alleviate the stress that clients endure while their pets are hospitalized. 

Job responsibilities include: 

  • Greeting clients 
  • Answering phones 
  • Differentiating specialty from emergency cases 
  • Entering client, patient and financial data into the computer 
  • Generating financial paperwork and processing payments 
  • Maintain medical records through our practice management software 
  • Communicating with referring veterinary offices and obtaining referral information as needed 
  • Keeping the waiting area and exam rooms clean and comfortable for our clients and patients 

Applicants must be proficient with computer entry and modern office technology. 

On a full-time basis, this position is scheduled 4 ten hour shifts per week inclusive of one weekend day. If a candidate has evening and weekend availability, part-time hours may also be considered. 

Prior veterinary practice experience is preferred but not required.
